About the Chalet
Chalet Montis combines authentic Alpine charm with modern comfort. Enjoy the warm wooden interior, the panoramic views over the Rhône Valley and the surrounding mountains, and the feeling of ultimate freedom. Whether you’re coming for an active holiday or simply to unwind, you’ll find everything you need right here.
Our chalet is situated on a sunny slope in the “Stei” area of Bellwald, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. From the private parking garage, it’s just a two-minute walk to the house. Bellwald is a charming and authentic mountain village with everything you need: ski slopes, hiking trails, mountain-bike routes, and cosy restaurants. The supermarket is a 10-minute walk from the chalet.
Location
In summer, you can start beautiful mountain hikes directly from Chalet Montis, passing blooming alpine meadows or setting out on a trip to the impressive Aletsch Glacier.
Mountain bike enthusiasts will love the many thrilling downhill trails nearby, while children can enjoy endless fun at the local outdoor park.
The charming town of Brig is only a 30-minute drive away and offers lovely shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Fancy a day in Italy? In just 1.5 hours, you can reach the picturesque town of Domodossola.
In winter, the ski bus takes you to the Bellwald ski lifts in just 10 minutes, with 39 km of slopes. If you’re looking for more variety, drive 15 minutes to Fiesch, where the Aletsch Arena awaits with 104 km of ski runs.
